If you got into Penn State University Park then the only school more difficult to get into on your list is Villanova which you have a shot at and the rest you should get in.

George Washington is tough too. You should be ok with the others, though. I’m kind of surprised you got accepted to PSU. They usually go with at least a 3.2 and higher SATs. Oh, I see you’re OOS, that must be it.

yeah that and maryland i thought were stretches but my parents dont want me going to PSU because they (and i) didnt really like the school. but maryland i like alot and i can do freshmanconnection which lets me start in the fall. im praying for villanova though

i think you have a pretty good shot at all of them, nova is gonna be tough (but we both know that since thats my top school too!!!) haha but i definitely think you have a GREAT shot! good luck! i hope we both get into nova!!! :)

I think you’re IN at American and have a good chance at GWU. I’m not too educated about the other schools on your list so I don’t know what your chances at those would be. Good luck on getting in! Congrats on the schools you’ve already gotten into!

Look at the stats that Villanova publishes for the percentage of students it accepts with your GPA/SAT profile. Do you really think the percentages are in your favor?

3.10 GPA’s will find it difficult to get into Villanova.
73% of 2009 enrolled freshman class had gpa above 3.50 , with less than 7% having gpa of below 3.25.
Not impossible , just unlikely.

Most schools publish a “fact book” every year. I haven’t seen Villanova’s but it should give a bit more info for the class it recently accepted.

I have to correct myself , I was looking at old data:
83% of 2009 enrolled freshman class had gpa above 3.50 , with 5 % having gpa of below 3.25.
This is for enrolled , not admitted students.

To further explain why your shot at getting into Nova will be difficult, one of my classmates got a 2020 on her SATs, has a pretty difficult course load, does sports, and has a GPA of somewhere around 3.8. She was waitlisted.
