Im never quite sure about people’s early decision chances, but if you don’t get in then, you will get in regular decision. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Yeah. I mean, I’m confident that I’m good enough to get in, but JMU’s admissions have become a lot of more competitive in the last few years, so I just want to make sure I’m not overshooting my chances.

Ive heard that sometimes if a person’s stats are too good, JMU will deny them, because they believe that the person will not enroll. That happened to a friend of mine who ended up at William and Mary.

Well, JMU is my top choice, and I intend to let them know that from the get-go. My personal statement will be very clear about that, and I also plan on a portfolio review (which is optional) since I intend to major in Studio Art (Graphic Design concentration)

Hey, I would’t worry about it…seriously. I had a little bit better SAT score but your gpa was much higher than mine and I got in last year no problem. I decided to go to another school, but Im tranferring with a 3.4 so I think you’ll be fine. Hopefully you are from NorthernVA though, it is an advantage.

If I was from Northern VA, I’d have like…a 5.2678 GPA and 45 HS credits. xD No, I’m from a small eastern town. Not that I think it’ll make that much difference.
