Please chance me. I know a lot of these are reaches

University of Toronto-
McGill University-
NYU-
Boston University-
George Washington University-
Berkeley-
UCLA-
UCSD-
UCI/UCD-
Case Western-
University of Washington-
University of Chicago-
Georgetown University(uncle went here)-
Johns Hopkins University-
Vassar College-
University of Michigan-
Amherst (uncle is a professor here)-
Middlebury-
Oberlin-
Swarthmore-

and i dont intend on applying to all of these. Im going to eliminate a lot of reaches.

bump for my sake

I'd eliminate some right off the bat before you look for feedback. check out how many people have reviewed this post with no responses. Your Act is OK, Ec's are average, and rank in class is average. i'd say your best bet for getting in is at BU, UCSD, Toronto and McGill. The rest seem like a crapshoot to me.

You have a shot at Case and Oberlin. I lived there and some students in my class got in with lower stats than yours.

I say you have a good chance at case. I just met with an admissions counselor yesterday, and your stats seem to fit. the only minor flaw are those C's soph year.

you have a strange mix of GIANT schools and tiny schools, schools with big jock culture and schools known for being quirky and artsy, schools in the middle of big cities and schools in the middle of nowhere.
what exactly are you looking for in a school??

Well the most important thing for me is that they have a sufficient Japanese program (4 years).
My top choices on the list are all big schools, or at least in a big city
McGill, U Washington, NYU, Berkeley, and UCLA.
I am interested in georgetown mainly because of location and quality of academics.
Most of the LACs though i just have on because of their program strength, but if i get accepted into any of my top choices, i would likely go to them over LACs (im a Big City, social person...i like to meet everyone)
