sorry for the formatting errors

this is saved in ms word so it got ruined here

Strong chance, the shadowing + research looks great. You’re ECs are legit, however I think you’re adding some filler with your Awards. Only keep those that matter the most. It seems you’ve almost done too many things in too wide of a field, and that may work as a positive or negative. That being said I’m sure you’ll get into one of the direct-to-med programs, and Brown probably provides the best financial aid. (Which you need?)

I’ll shorten the awards then, thanks.

Yeah, my dad saved $100,000 in cash for school for me but that won’t get me very far. Also, my siblings (2) either want to go to law school or med school so money is an issue but education is my top priority. Also, say I didn’t go to a direct md program and went for undergrad. Is it better to go to an easier school and get a good gpa and grades or go to an ivy and get less amazing grades? would the ivy prepare me more for the mcat if im focused?

You may not be eligible for finanial aid. Run the NPC. Siblings in low or med school don’t count as additional students for financial aid–those are independent students.

WOW!

Very strong candidate indeed. I think I saw in your other thread that you are hispanic.

With these stat’s, your great accomplishments, and your race, and with GREAT essays and recommendations, YOU ARE IN!

Definiteily elaborate on your science/medicine accomplishments and maybe consider deleting some marginal activities? Remember, Common App has very limited space and you won’t be given the option to state things like “I participated in the work heavily (I was not some assistant or something else)” or “I built electric guitars from scratch and sold them locally and over seas.”

Put that in your essay if you must

OTHERWISE: Keep it up and I wish you good luck in all your future endeavors.

Others: Please chance me on my profile as well :)

No One, No One, is definitely “In” for PLME! The acceptance rate is so low, that it is an odds game. (and unpredictable too). You do have strong credentials. Counteracting that is that I see nothing in what you have that would tell me why Brown should admit you, instead of letting you go somewhere else. The “why Brown?” question. Start working on that answer if you want to increase the likelihood of getting admitted to Brown.

I think there’s a high chance especially if you’re hispanic. Are you applying to early or regular?
