Harvard University- Very high reach
Drexel University- Low match
University of Delaware- Low match

You have a pretty solid application, unfortunately your SATs drag it down to make it almost unreachable for Harvard and difficult for Columbia. Though then again, Ivies are a crapshoot so i wish you the best of luck and thanks for the chance

You do have SATs that are relatively low, and no ACT Substitute. You have ok SAT IIs, and GPA is not horrible, just mid range-ish. The fact that you have ECs, URM status and first generation will help. You certainly have an application that balances itself out.

I think

Boston University- match
Harvard University- reach (it is for everyone)
Drexel University-in
University of Delaware-not sure

even though the ivies are reaches, i think if u retake the sat (maybe try act?) and maybe get a 2000 or an act of a 30+, you would have good chances at some top tier schools. expand your list!! there are other great schools. try uva, johns hopkins, emory, etc. good luck.

Like a lot of the other posters have said, Harvard and Columbia are HUGE reaches for you. Despite your hooks (1st generation, URM), your SAT I and SAT II scores will kill you, as will your GPA. The ECs you’ve listed are okay, but show no particular focus (if you do have some honors for those ECs, though, that should help a bit). You do have 2 leadership positions, but they don’t seem that strong, unless you’ve done something pretty great in them. Hopefully, you took a rigorous courseload (that explains your mid-range GPA), and have continued to challenge yourself even now.

But as for the rest of your schools, you have a fair shot.

Out of a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest):

Columbia: 2
University of Maryland: 5.5
Boston University: 7
Harvard: 1
Drexel University: 8
University of Delaware: 7

I’d say Columbia and Harvard are definite reaches for you, despite your hooks. Your GPA and SAT scores, like everyone has said, are low for these ivies. Perhaps try taking the ACTs and see if you do better at that. It depends what major/school you’re going for, but I’d say overall, you’re in at all your other schools, particularly Drexel and UDel.
