chance me pls? I'll chance you back

Schools I'm applying to: Brown (ED), Wesleyan, Yale, Vassar, UPenn, Bowdoin, Boston U, NYU maybe, Hampshire college, Fordham, maybe Bryn Mawr
Intended major: Egyptology(or archaeology) + Art History, perhaps create an archaeological illustration path depending

GPA: 3.95 (will bump to a 4.00 probably)
AP Classes taken: AP Lang&Comp, APUSH, AP Gov, AP Lit, AP French, AP Art History
My freshman year I was in all CP (basic level) classes, in soph-senior year I took mostly all honors with the above APs mixed in. This year, however, I'm in CP physics and CP precalc (the prereqs were ridiculous)

My ACT Composite Score: 28 (retaking, but I'm kind of ok with these scores)
ACT English: 34
ACT Math: 24
ACT Critical Reading: 28
ACT Science: 25
SAT: 1820 (retaking, hoping to break 2000)
Subject tests: 680 ush and 510 lit which literally makes no sense so i'm going to retake that one even tho it's after the ED date
Class Rank: we don't rank

EC: Founder of my school's student diversity group, barnum museum docent bridgeport sophomore year, yale peabody museum docent junior/senior year, peer connection school leardship group sophomore-senior year (seminars and retreats to learn various methods of mediation, helped teach a freshman seminar class, club publicist and designed t-shirts/logo), ,musical/play painting crew (work in new haven's shubert theatre), photography club president senior year (secretary soph/jun), art and literary magazine editor, National Honor Society (tutor), French National Honor Society, I paint/draw (featured in a few local galleries)

Community Service: Campus ministry COR team ("paint it pink" breast care awareness committee, Camden NJ mission trip summer before senior year), helped at a summer camp a little bit in betw fresh/soph and soph/jun year

Work Experience: frozen yogurt shop, about 15 hours a week since early september

Other misc stuff: Attended an Egyptology course through Summer@Brown (my teacher, a PhD candidate, wrote me a supplemental recommendation), currently taking a soph level course at Yale for credit, I am going to include a portfolio as well as perhaps the paper I wrote for my Egyptology course, depending idk

Hooks: URM (biracial; my dad is kenyan and my mom is white)

The noncompetitive major helps. Though your test scores will drag you down don’t get your hopes down if you dont get in, ivy admissions are a crap shoot at best.
Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1691627-chances-for-jhu-ed-i-chance-back-within-12-hours.html#latest

Tbh, as brennon272 said, your scores will really drag you down. For Ivies, you should be aiming for 32+ and 2200+ to be competitive, at least from what I know.

I’m chancing you based on your stats right now:
Brown (ED) - reach
Wesleyan - reach
Yale - reach
Vassar (no experience w/ this school, don’t want to give faulty info)
UPenn - reach
Bowdoin - match
Boston U - match
NYU maybe - reach
Hampshire college - match
Fordham - match
Bryn Mawr - match

@mhm178. Do you realize Bowdoin’s median ACT is 33 and SAT is 2160, and the admit percentage is 14% (and 11% for regular decision)?
