Hi, so I’ve never made a post on these website, so to everyone reading this hi.
I am sorry this is so long
I am making this point directed towards people that are in college, more specifically Ivy Leagues and the par, or who graduated from those schools and to see if you guys think I have a good chance of getting at Harvard.
I am currently a sophomore at a high school in Florida. I am Hispanic and got to the U.S. at the age of 10.
These are the classes I took my freshman year: Biology 1 Honors, Geometry Honors, English 1 Honors, Business, World History Honors, Technical Theater(for my arts credit), Communications Methodologies(A prerequisite for AP Capstone), and P.E. Through dual enrollment I took Humanities and Sociology in spring and Journalism and Speech during the summer. Online I took Spanish, French, and two essay regular classes. I received straight As.
Sophomore year: AP Psychology, Chemistry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, English 2 Honors, AP Human Geography, AP Capstone, Law 1, Culinary. Online I am taking AP Macroeconomics, and I am going to take Pre-Calculus Honors Economics with financial literacy honors, and philosophy. Through Dual Enrollment I am taking 2 courses in Spring and 2 courses in Summer. I am also self-studying for AP Spanish Language expect to get all As this year.
This is my plan for Junior year: AP English Lang 1, AP Research 1, AP Calculus, Dual U.S. History 1, AP Art History 1, AP Spanish Literature 1, LAW 2 1, Physics 1 Honors. Online I will take French 2, Latin 1 or Chinese 1, and AP Micro .5 between Fall and Spring and AP computer Science, Leadership Skills Development, and World Religion during the Summer. I am not sure what dual enrollment classes I will take this semester, but I am for sure doing classes on the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. I am also self-studying for AP European history because it’s not given in my school. I expect to get either straight As this year, or majority As with only one or two Bs as final grades.
Senior Year: AP English Lit, AP Physics. AP Calculus BC, AP Government, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science, Law 3, and Speech and Debate. I want to take French 3 online. I am not sure what courses I will take through dual enrollment but I am taking classes in the Fall and Spring semester. I am also self-studying for AP World History because it is not offered in my school. I, again, expect to get As this year, or only a few Bs.
AP Scores: I am trying to get a 4 or 5 on my AP Tests. I am a good test taker so, through studying I will be able to do this.
Overall, I am taking 16 AP classes and self-studying for 3.
