yes, as long as you are in top 10% or hopefully top 5%, you have a very good chance for Engineering.

Hopefully you are still in touch with your professor at UCLA. Get him/her to do one of your letters of rec, and be sure to attach an abstract of any research you are doing.

hmm. alrite. thank you very much.
What if i apply as a bio major? How would my chance be?
And is it possible to go to dental school if i get into cornell as an engineering major?

It is possible to go to any graduate school in any major if you are an engineering major. I suggest doing what you enjoy rather than picking a major you think will “prepare you” for graduate schools (such as dental or med school or law school). As long as you have learned how to think critically, and have a basic understanding of chem/phys/bio you should be fine. Biology majors spend 4 years learning the amount of biology that Med students do in two weeks.

Just curious PennDreamer-- why is Penn not your number one choice anymore?

After visiting UPenn, i was slightly disappointed. It was worse than what i imagined. (I’m not saying it was bad. In fact, UPenn was pretty cool)
But after visiting Cornell, I fell in love with the Campus and the learning environment. So I want to apply to Cornell as ED and UPenn as regular.

Btw, do i have a good chance for the CAS? for chem major?
