chance me plz for ucla(nervous wreck)

I currently have a 4.7 UC gpa and am ranked No. 4 in my school. I have all A's and no B's and am in the most competitive program at my school that allows us to skip a year(which is why I took US and Am.Lit in 10th grade)

P.S. on the application, do i have to state how many years i have done something because i only started the red cross, american cancer society, and assisting the elderly this year(am a junior) and only joined orchestra in junior year
(couldnt do so before because it conflicted w/ my schedule although i have been playing for 7 years under a tutor). Will this work against me or should I just state how many hours( for examply 100 for the cancer society )and not even mention the length. I will most certainly state the length of all my clubs, the fact that i have oil painted for 10 years and have played tennis for 8, done shakespearean acting for 2 years, and working for my community center for a long time as well. Will that be okay?

Did you only apply to UCLA?

I would say you have a good chance. Your stats are almost the same as mine and I got into CAL. I don't know about UCLA, but they're pretty much similar.

im only a junior-i apply next year, lol. My heart is just really bent on UCLA.

I'm also applying for UCSD, USC, UC Irvine, UC Davis, Loyola(safety), Pepperdine(safety) and Washington State University(safety- i have family in seattle, only reason im applying)

well, you’re looking good for any uc.

… but how do you have a 4.7 uc gpa? that’s impossible, considering you can only get a max of two honors/ap credits in soph and junior year.

It’s possible, my cousin got in with 4.5 or whatever the highest possible gpa is, 2250 SAT/34ACT, 750+ SAT II’s, but her only extracurriculars were varsity tennis. So you have a decent chance.

you can not have a 4.7 GPA… Yes they do ask how many years you have done an EC and how many h/w w/y. You have a good chance, the essays will probably determine the result.

I take college courses that are UC transferrable-perhaps that’s why GPA is so high?Anyways, my college counselor showed me my UC gpa on her computer, it stated 4.69.

As far as stating the hours and the years of each community service, does a year for each volunteer activity look good?all my community service took place in only my junior year, but everything else is quite longer. Is that okay?
