Chance me plz!!! Intl junior for UCB, Columbia,UMich,Stanford, Uchicago

Hi guys, it's the first time to write something here...
Well I'm currently a junior and I'm now starting to think about applying and getting ready for the college admission process...which doesn't sound fun at all.
Anyways, I'm just wondering what I my chances are for following schools and how I can improve my apps before when I really have to focus on essays.

SAT:2310/2400

SAT II: 800 800 780

AP: got 5s for Calc AB, Calc BC, USH, Psych, Macro, Micro, Chem, 3 for European History(i guess i shouldn't submit this one though)

senior class rigor: AP Eng, Advanced Topics(highest math in school), AP Physics etc...hardest possible

GPA: 3.91/4.0, I took the hardest classes possible every year. My school's a small private school in one of the western states, and there are a few students who got 4.0s in school's history.

EC's:

JV Soccer (9th)
V Racquetball (10-12, will be captain next year)
V Golf (10-12)
few National, State wide Art awards
Art Club (11-12, Founder&President)
Orchestra (9-12,violin)
Community Service Club Council (10-12,participated in almost all of the activities)
Community Service Club Vice President
KYD Diplomatic Forum (10 summer, team leader)
President Award from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (10 summer)
Orchestra Performing Trip to Europe (10 summer)
Academic High Honors (9-12)
AP Scholar with Distinction
And some secondary summer school programs this summer

I know, nothing really special about my EC's, but I can definitely say in the essay or something that I actively participated in art and sports and I learned a lot from those. Community Service club is also one of my biggest things.

So, with my background, what are my chances for UCB, Columbia,Stanford, Uchicago, and UMich?? I'm planning to major in Psychology or Philosophy.

Competitive at all these schools.

I would say
Lock for UCB, Uchicago, UMich
Random but still solid chance at Columbia, Stanford (Since admission to these schools is pretty random)

huge chance for all. wow. good job.

@MasterYster first of all, thanks! um any recommendation for what I should work on from now on to improve this somehow??

@somenights thanks, i hope i can survive…:)

bump…any other opinions???

bump bump bump

Berkeley and Mich - Match
Chicago and Columbia - High Match
Stanford - Reach (as it is for everyone)

Your EC’s seem very widespread, in your application I would focus on emphasizing your passions and how those connect with your ECs and interests. These schools (I’m speaking largely about Stanford/Columbia, the rest you’re pretty set) are looking for applicants who are passionate about what they do and aren’t just looking to pad their resume. Right now your application reads as if you were just set on doing the hardest classes with the most ECs for the sake of looking good on paper, show in your essays that you truly care about what you do and that you’re an interesting, passionate person.

thanks. i really should focus on essay i think:)

buuuuuummmpppp

UCB/UMich-Match
Reach for rest

bump bump plz anyone else? i’ll chance back if anyone wants me to

Errm, considered Yonsei, SNU or KNU?

UMich; UCB - matches
UChicago, Columbia - high match
Stanford - ???

To tell you the truth, no one can really predict where you will be accepted.

bumppppppp

UCB: Match
Columbia: Reach for anyone, but you have one of the most competitive applications
UMich:Safety
Stanford: Just as hard/harder than Columbia, but you actually have a chance
Uchicago: Match

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1450628-chance-me-will-return-favor-mainly-lacs-unc-um-ucb.html

UCB, UMich - low matches
Columbia, Stanford - reaches
Uchicago - low reach

Why not try UCLA which has a 30% int’l student admission rate and is one of the top public schools along with Cal and UMich?

@BuBBLES FoR SALE ya i guess i should. I just thought UCLA is too much of a ‘party school’ for me…haha well anyways. thanks!
