<p>Your story is definitely excellent (espec. the impressive recovery you made junior year), you had a pretty solid transcript, SAT’s are good for most of your schools, EC’s are a little weak (lack of leadership could hurt you), but awards, sports, & volunteer work help. Here are my chances:</p>

<p>NYU: BIG Reach (I’d reconsider; perhaps replace with Drexel, Northeastern, or American)
U OF ROCHESTER : Reasonable Reach
BOSTON C: Another BIG Reach (look at those schools; maybe also UDelaware, U Maryland, SUNY Oneonta/New Paltz, Ohio State, York in PA)

<p>Id say your reaches are NYU, BC, And UT. The rest are either matches or low matches. I think that if you can write essays that explain why you scored lowly on CR, not explicitly, but perhaps imply it, i think NYU could be a possibility. Youre definitely a special case because the ESL thing screws you over for Critical Reading, but youre obviously intelligent</p>

The only “iffy/maybe” is NYU. Just make sure your SAT I score is great! :)</p>
