Hi, I am an International student, and I am looking forward to study IR. I'm applying NYU Undergraduate as ED.

So far these are my grades:

GPA: 3.5 (weighted)

SAT: 1900s (still waiting for Oct. scores; but it will be in between 2000 - 2150)

AP:
Com. Gov.: 3
World History: 3
Eng. Language and Composition: 3
Chinese: 5
(Yeah, bunch of 3s lol)

SAT II:
Chinese: 780
Math 2C (Nov. Test)

Other tests:
New HSK: 251
TOEFL: 115

Extracurricular:
Varsity Soccer team (9,10,12 grade(captain, maybe))
Model UN: 13 as delegates and 7 as student officers
MUN Club President
Service Club President

What do you guys think my chances are?? And if anyone has some advice to help me out that would greatly appreciated. I have not thought about applying to US colleges till few months ago :P Also I would really appreciate if anyone can list some colleges that have good IR programs for ME to apply. Currently I am thinking about WUSTL, Emory, GWU, UChicago, URochester, and UMichigan. Any opinions of good or bad or which ones better??

I don't mind about tuition fees, but I do mind about good internship within the area, which makes NYU a fine choice since a lot of UN organizations' headquarters are in NYC.

And one last question: Does SAT II scores make a big difference (in case of NYU) ??

Thank you!!!!
