Chance me plz

I know these posts are annoying, but I was just rejected from Penn ED, and want to know if I even have a decent chance RD. Here are my qualifications, let me know if there is anything I should particularly focus on in my app or any programs that may be beneficial to write about in the supplements. These stats are post-1st-semester senior year.
GPA: 3.94 UW / 4.48 W… 12 APs by the end of senior year. 2 B+'s, one in freshman English first semester, one in AP CS A this semester
Class Rank: 5/650
ACT: 33C (33R, 35E, 31M, 32S) / . 34 super score
SAT II: 740 Math II (I don’t think I want to submit)
AP Scores: Calc AB (5), Lang (5), APUSH (4)
Senior year courseload: AP CS A, AP Lit, AP Gov/AP Macro Econ, AP Calc BC, AP Physics 1

ECS:

  • HS baseball (captain) - 3 years Var, 4 years total
    -club baseball - 4 years, mostly summer and fall
    -California Scholarship Federation (tutoring club for 4 years)
    -Self-taught code in python and swift for app development
  • Mu Alpha Theta (math club joined senior year)
  • baseball lessons (mentoring younger kids and giving them lessons)

Intended major: engineering undecided/ math/ undecided
Common App Essay: 8/10 ish? I have some time to tweak I guess

School: public
Ethnicity: half Latino/half white
Region: Los Angeles, Ca
Income Bracket 250k ish
Hooks: URM? LGBT?

Just like any other applicant in your stats range, you have a chance. There’s nothing about your app that means that Dartmouth MUST have you, but your scores are at the top of their range and you have good ECs, so you have a decent chance.

Also, if you want a percentage-wise estimate, Parchment has a pretty good college chance estimator based on your scores and stuff, so maybe try that if you want some reassurance (or horror).

You have an interesting background. Can you play baseball at college level? Do you have latino urm hook? These would help a lot - though I suspect answer may be no based on your outcome at Penn.

Lgbt is not a hook. Also, Dartmouth has not been known as particularly lgbt friendly - though my knowledge may be dated.
