Do princeton and harvard have more competitive applicants or are just more crapshoots? Sorry, I’m new to this site. What are low reaches and high reaches? Should I apply to them or are they a waste of an application fee? Thanks!!

All of those schools are reaches for everyone
YOu have good grades and stuff but dont forget to search for solid mathces that you would want to go to just in case

impressive stats/ECs (though lacking a bit in leadership positions). You’ve obviously made the most of your high school career. If you write stellar essays, I think you’re chances would be something like:

Cornell - low reach/high match
Duke - match
UC berkeley - match/high match
UChicago - match/high match
Harvard - low reach/reach (but better chances than most)
Yale - low reach/reach (but better chances than most)
Princeton - low reach/reach
Stanford - low reach
Dartmouth - low reach

It’s often a crapshoot with Ivies, but you’ve got a good chance at all of this schools. Good luck.
