Chance Me Plzzz!

So, I REALLY want to know if I can get into my DREAM school, Harvard :) I've wanted to go there ever since I was in 1st grade... my dad told me a lie and said he worked there so I absolutely loved it. My dad passed away in a tragic gardening accident... how can I include this in my essay? :D He electrocuted himself with a plastic gardening hose and an electric ornament for our outdoor christmas tree that year :(

Anyways, please rate my stats!

School details: My school is one of dee best onez in da countre. i had to apply for it bcuz it was REALLY competitive + out of my district... so i had to walk to school 3 miles every day (i still do sometimes bcuz my mom's car breaks down a lot). my mom works 4 jobs to support us and she's half black/native american/hispanic... so i GUESS i am too. i do not know what my daddy is... he was blind but im not, thank the holy jesus... i just have an astygmatism (can i put this in my essay too????) i need glasses just to use the computer... so im also disabled in that way... does that count for Harvard??

plz help im so worried :O

ha.
ha.
ha.

I’m laughing at you, not with you.

With Harvard there is no way to accurately predict individual chances. The process is entirely subjective. Up to 90% of applicants to Harvard are considered “highly qualified” by the Harvard Admissions Committees. Once the less qualified individuals are thrown out of the mix, the Admissions Committees sculpt the class based on desirable demographics, and the like. Don’t worry yourself with statistics or with how you compare to other applicants. No candidates can be compared. Everyone is an individual with his or her own flaws and merits. Hearing that you’ll probably get in or, on the other hand, probably not get in, will only get your spirits up or down without necessity, and encourage more nervousness in the process.

All that said, be realistic.

Your chance is the same as everyone else’s: Approximately 8%.

Question: Are these stats even real?

HAHAHA I can’t believe you took this seriously Amplifiar842, did you actually read it?

This is BS. Tragic gardening accident with a smiley face next to it?
You need a life. People DO have lives like this, and it’s not a joke, azzhole.

Didn’t read it through the first, time, no hahaha

I roll my eyes at all chance posts, though. Especially for good schools with selective admissions processes. If people are na

As soon as I read the first line and the post count, I was like: ■■■■■ ALERT! ■■■■■ ALERT! :D

I applied to Harvard last year and it was NEVER my dream school ever. Though it would have been nice to have been accepted, however. Weird how the world works, right?

To the OP: I say that you have a chance. At least you will have a greater chance than I ever did when I applied to Harvard.

Omg wow thank u xx55xx
now i has hope! Change is comming.

I’m surprised you spent twenty minutes of your life writing nonsense. Early summer break?

The tragic thing about this post is that the OP has such a lack of important things to do that he can spend time writing something like this up.

The OP should be accepted at H based on sense of humor alone! Great post!

Or that he’s hilarious and you’re not. Is Conan O’Brien’s work “tragic” because its purely for laughs? How about Joe Biden?

Ahahahaha…Joe Biden. xD

What I find most interesting about this situation is that he decides to post this EXACTLY 20 hours after the “Stop Making Chance Threads” post. You can use calculus to prove this, but you have no life.

Lol hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

It would be funny if similar topics weren’t done like every month. And it would be funny if any of it was funny. And it would be funny if the humor wasn’t contingent upon jokes about parental death and domestic abuse.

I’m the first one to appreciate satirical stuff, but this was just dumb.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Props to the creator of this thread

LOL after tragic gardening accident I knew this was a ■■■■■…

DwightEisenhower!! YOU GOT INTO HARVARD??? OMG lUlzzzz now i really has a chancee
