Chance Me Por Favor!

Kind of messed up this year... a lot.
GPA is now 3.0 unweighted. Taken 4 AP exams, 5 on AP Euro, don't know about US, Lit, or Calc AB yet. UW Spanish 103 and 201 credits. 2210 on SAT first round, will be retaking. 740 on US Subject, 740 on Lit Subject, and 540 on Spanish Subject. Knowledge Bowl, Hi-Q Club, Debate Club, and Game Club President, two years as ASB Senator, 100+ hours community service, NMSQT commended student, Evergreen Girls State Supreme Court Judge, will likely also have recommendation from Washington State Supreme Court Judge. Played soccer and tennis for the school for three years. Washington DECA Area 1 President, Top 20 International Champion in Hotel and Lodging Management, attended two academic camps this summer.

I'm hoping for American, George Washington, University of Washington, Washington and Lee, UVa, etc. but I understand that my GPA is gonna be a serious roadblock. What am I looking at for admissions next year? Do I even have a shot at these schools with a 3.0 despite all those other qualifications?

Thanks everyone!

The 3.0 is really going to hurt you. Realistically GW and American are not in your range (nothing else is strong enough to compensate for your GPA), I don’t know about the others…

What are you looking at for safeties?

I have no idea… I really want a school that has International Relations and National Security as an undergrad but I don’t know any schools that offer that and would accept me.

How about Ohio Wesleyan? It is not very well known/not very competitive, but from my understanding they have a very strong international program (I have a friend that is there currently there for the international program).

Here is a link to the College Board thing about them. <a href=“BigFuture College Search”>BigFuture College Search;

You are wonderful :slight_smile: thanks!

Lol, no problem. :slight_smile: Good luck!
