<p>I'm a senior this year, I suppose its a bit late for this but what the heck.
I plan on majoring in molecular biology and studying genetics, with on International relations/economics as a possible minor.
Loosely planning a career as a genetic counselor, but I'm not too set on that.</p>

<p>School
Southridge high school - not known for academics
Overall GPA - 3.9ish
Freshman - took all offered honors (math & science), 4.0
Sophomore - took all offered honors (math, science, spanish) 4.0
Junior - took running start mostly second-year level classes 3.85*
Senior - taking 3 AP's one honors plus college classes
*one quarter 5 credit class = one year high school credit so I got 10.5 credits that year vs. 6 in a regular year.
-Will graduate with associates degree & high school diploma
-Top 10%
-Academic awards for GPA, Student of the month (English, World Languages, Consumer Science)</p>

<p>Tests
SAT (Best of each): Math 730 CR 740 Writing 650
SAT II: Biology 740 (I am taking Math 2 and Spanish tomorrow)
ACT: 32 (am retaking Dec 12, last test I will take for college apps :D )
Taking 3 Ap's in the spring (Calculus BC, Statistics, and American Government)</p>

<p>EC
-Swim Team: 4 years varsity, summers club. Awards: Coaches choice 06, High Point 07, Most Inspirational 08, All-District First team & Captian 09. Swam in District champs all 4 years, Relay was district champions this year and competed at State.
-DV8 Youth Group: 5 years, every wednesay night, Leadership: Group Leader & member of the Service & Outreach Committee (sets up volunteer opportunities and missions)
-Mock Trial. Joined junior year, won Best Witness award at local level. I am a lawyer this year.
-NHS: Not an officer but I participate in all functions I can attend and am helping plan the international program (giving supplies to an orphanage I went to in China two summers ago).
-Choir: 3 years, member of select Chamber choir for 2 years. Librarian 06.
-Phi Theta Kappa- member, Honor society for 2yr colleges.</p>

<p>Other
-I currently have a part time job at an Engineering firm.
-Summer 2009 I went to Morocco and volunteered in Rabat. Also learned basic Arabic.
-Summer 2008 I went with the International Youth Leadership Forum to China (Forum: International Relations)
-Summer 2007 Volunteered at Lourdes hospital in Human Resources</p>
