Please chance me for: Fordham, NYU, College of the Holy Cross, Vassar, BC, Wesleyan, Bryn Mawr, Wellesley, Skidmore, Smith

Yea, I know I can't get into half of them realistically, but I might as well try.

I’d say you have a great shot at Fordham, NYU, Holy Cross, BC, Bryn Mawr and Skidmore. Vassar, Wesleyan, Wellesley and Smith may skew a bit more as borderline reaches for you, but I think they are definitely within a reasonable range. You have a really good, well-rounded background. If anything, try and get the ACT up into the low 30s or solid SATs, or focus on test-optional schools (Holy Cross, Bryn Mawr, Wesleyan, Smith are I know, not sure of the others in your list).

Hi, thanks for chancing me! I’m not overly familiar with a good portion of the schools on your list, but I think you’re a match for NYU, Holy Cross, and the like. Your GPA seems like it’s right on target for most of the schools on your list, and while your ACT score may veer off towards the mid-lower percentiles for a select few, your strong ECs will probably make up for it. Smith, Wesleyan, and Wellesley, and Vassar might be a bit of a stretch, but not impossible, like the poster above said, I think they’re a low reach/high match.

Don’t count the October ACT out! I took the October SAT and thought that the test was terrible and that my scores would be drastically lower, but they actually ended up being 100 points higher than I expected. A lot of times, when a test seems horrible to you, it probably seemed horrible to everyone, and the curve will reflect that. I know they’re different tests, but, just my advice.

I think if your essays are a good reflection of you and well constructed you should have no problem with acceptances. In fact, I think that your statement that half the schools on your list are inaccessible is untrue - your chances are better than that. A boost in SATs/ACTs might help, but your scores are relatively strong as they stand now. Your senior year courseload seems rigorous as well, and I good mid-year grade report will help in case you get deferred/waitlisted.

I think you have a solid chance with these schools. Some a little higher than others but I say you are a match for all of them. Great rank, nice test scores, well-rounded EC’s. Best of luck to you

Fordham: low match/match
NYU: match
College of the Holy Cross: match
Vassar: high match/low reach
BC: high match
Wesleyan: high match/low reach
Bryn Mawr: match
Wellesley: high match/low reach
Skidmore: low match
Smith: low match
I commend you on your amazing EC’s btw! Maybe add some more safeties if you’re looking for merit aid. Otherwise, I’d say you’re good to go with all your colleges.

I think you have a good match definitely for Fordham , NYU , Bryn Mawr , and Skidmore.
I don’t really know too well about the other colleges, but there are definitely in your reach ^^ Good Luck
And can you also chance me back ?

Good match for all except Wesleyan and Smith, which may be low reaches for you (low bc you actually have a fantastic rank and ec’s) Chance back on my most recent thread??

Thanks for chancing me! I’d say you’re a great match for most. Your GPA/rank and EC’s are fantastic so that puts you at a greater chance. And I think (if you plan to keep playing) I’d definitely mention your passion for and experience with lacrosse during your HS years.

i think that you are definitely competitive for all of them, and will get into most, if not all of them. write a fantastic essay, and maybe, if you have time, try to take the SATs again just for security? otherwise, your rank/gpa is fab and your e.c.'s are strong! i think, ultimately, they will balance themselves out.
