Anyone have any ideas?

You have great grades! But…,your ACT is pretty low for those schools (not sure about UCSD and SB). You’re most likely in at Miami, but get the ACT to a 30 or 31 for some nice scholarship $$. You get your ACT to a 30+ and I’m sure you have good chances for the rest. The UCs will be expensive though as an OOS. Is there a reason you want to be in CA?

Its because of the marine biology research capabilities, but thank you!

yea try to raise your ACT a couple of points if you can (though I wish mine was nearly as high as yours) . keep in mine, when you want to get into the best schools, you have to be the best (or be super rich)

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll be retaking it soon, so during the beginning of the year I’ll focus on the act as much as possible
