I greatly appreciate any and all feedback

Just so you know UF doesn’t care about teacher recommendations or SAT 2s at all, it’s a waste of your time to send them.

Twiggy22, UF would be a match. Below is the 2013 Freshman class profile:

Fall 2013 admission profile
Mid 50% GPA: 4.1-4.5
Average GPA: 4.3
Mid 50% SAT: 1840-2100
Average SAT: 1967

Average ACT: 30

With UF’s holistic admissions process, 50% is academic (GPA and Test) and 50% is EC’s/Leadership/Essay. So spend some effort on your application, describing your EC’s. Focus on those that you’ve spent a few years working on (UF likes to see that you had stuck with something). Those EC’s that are only done in 12th grade (such as Environmental Club) should be listed but not emphasized, while you should emphasize your time volunteering at two elementary schools for 3 years(for example).

When describing an EC (like Thespians), list how many hours you spent (each week?) doing the EC.

Good Luck!

Have you calculated your UF GPA? Based on your weighted GPA I would guess it’s right about where it should be! Your SAT is low, I would retake it just to see what happens or just rely on your ACT. Your ECs are great. Definitely take the advice of the poster above me.

I would say you have a very good chance  Just wondering, what’s Executive Intern?

Thank you all soo much for your replies  anymore would be lovely
And @ryanx13 executive intern is a class where you intern for some place at the school some admissions person assigns you to a place and you just intern and do as they say  … It has a Gpa requirement of 3.3 unweighted and only for 11 nd 12th graders … I got placed in the attendance office junior yr hopefully they put me in the front office this yr ! Or you can request a teacher
