Chance me, pretty please

The schools I'm looking at:

Hooks:
I am from an immigrant family that came from the former Soviet Union and had to adjust to life in America.
My Brother, and two of my cousins went to/ go to Ohio State

i think you have a shot at some higher level colleges too, like the lower ivies.

what aps r u taking this year?? u will get into ohio state don't worry and u should be happy that ur act score is that high!!!!! enjoy life and stop worrying

No AP's this year

Ohio State
Wisconsin-Madison
Illinois-UC
UMich
Northwestern
Berkeley

you put them in order of increased difficulty to get in!!!

you'll definitely get into OSU, and it gets harder down that list until the ultimate high reach of berkeley. and apply to all those schools, it's a great list... good range of schools!

Does anyone know what SAT II's Berkeley requires? I'll probably take Math II, and I might be able to pull of American History.

Anyone else have any opinions?

you're in at ohio state and madison

if illinois - uc means uchicago then its kinda hard to tell cuz essays dominate their app...if it means any other illinois school i'm thinking about you are in

northwestern-you may have some trouble (i would try to raise that ACT or do well on SAT)

berkeley-same thing

oh yeah and some leadership never hurt anybody :)

I'm talking about Urbana-Champaign

Apply to more schools, especially higher level places. Write in your essay about your immigrant experience and your adjustment. Are you are first generation college student or did your parents go to college in the Soviet Union? I would apply anywhere, OSU is more of a safety school although it is a great place. But I think you have a shot anywhere especially at places like Cornell, Northwestern, Penn. I would apply to at least 12 schools.

Ok I have some updated information

ACT:
Composite-32
English-32
Math-33
Reading-32
Science- 31

New W GPA is 4.151

I am mostly wondering what my new shot is at Northwestern and UCB as I am pretty confident for the other schools.

Also if you have any other suggestions for schools that maybe a good fit please post them. Thanks in advance

Ohio State- Safety
Wisconsin-Madison- Match
Illinois-UC- Match
UMich- Match
Northwestern and Berkeley- Reaches but definitely worth applying

Anyone else

OSU -safe match
UIUC - match
