Chance me: Princeton EA, UChicago, UPenn, Harvard, Yale, Northwestern, Brown

Hi! I’m currently a junior attending a small, public school in suburban Ohio. My top choice right now is Princeton, but I’m also interested in applying to other top tier schools. I’d really appreciate it if you chance me! I’ll chance you back

As a junior? I can see room for improvement w/your SATs and such
Classes-wise, I would say somehow shove in AP Chemistry…AP Chem (in my opinion) is next to Physics E/M as the most difficult courses, so it would say a lot.
Volunteer hours seem a bit low…NHS at my school req 25 hours a year, and I know some people who push 100 hours of service…
With a solid essay (and maintaining rank + improving SAT/ACT) + solid LoR, you seem like a good applicant for those schools (remember to apply to matches as well, don’t do all Ivies)

STEM Female

Okay chances at NW and Penn

Princeton SCEA: Reach to High Reach
Harvard RD: Extremely low chances
Yale RD: Very Low chances
Chicago RD: Very low chances
Brown RD: Low chances

Wow your stats are amazing considering you’ve just finished sophomore year. I would recommend starting your own club or organization to really emphasize your leadership skills. Consider taking up a hobby like playing an instrument or taking art classes to show some interests instead of solely focusing on academics. You definitely have a chance at these schools and will probably get into at least one of them. I’m applying to Northwestern ED so I can understand your desire to attend an outstanding school haha… Best of luck!

You have the academic foundation. Now need to keep it up. And show initiative and leadership outside of the classroom.

Hello. I live 10 minutes outside of Princeton and regardless of what anyone says, go if you get in. The connections are great and you can do so much on campus. You might have a shot at Yale or Princeton, but it’s a yes if you have a hook for Brown or NW.
