Chance Me? Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Johns Hopkins

I've never done this before. Figured I would because college apps have me freaked out and I may or may not be procrastinating lol

I'd like to think what makes me stand out is that I'm a girl who's an artist but also highly interested in astrophysics. I'd like to double major if possible

With Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, their acceptance rate is ridiculously low, so not everyone who’s qualified can get in. But regardless, with your accomplishments and academics, I’d think that you’d be a competitive applicant… so like a match/reach.

Your chances would be the best at Johns Hopkins, of course, but only by a smaller margin because of the higher acceptance rate.

I’m sorry if this comes off as being mean, but how is it possible that you got a 700 on the SAT Math section yet you’re in Linear Algebra? It doesn’t really add up. I think that if you possibly retook the SAT, you can easily get a boost in your math score which should put your score at 2150+

These five schools are reaches for anyone. What are your matches/safeties?

I make very silly mistakes that get me the lower SAT scores math-wise. I recently took them in June again and got a 690 for math (3 MC wrong and 1 plug in; only one of those was an error in understanding of the math and it was a mod question!! :stuck_out_tongue: )
I’m studying to get a 780-800 in math and a 720 for CR. I think they’re reasonable goals

I have two safeties: Case Western and Rutgers University.
I only have two safeties and no matches because I get free tuition with my dad being a professor at rutgers. To my parents it’s go big or go home lol :P
