Chance me: Princeton PhD, Electrical Engineering

<p>I'm planning to apply to the PhD program in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on nano-scale devices with applications in energy) at Princeton after completing my B.S. Electrical Engineering (I'm currently entering my senior year). Please let me know what you think my chances are!</p>

<p>Academic stats:
-GPA (cumulative): 3.6
-GPA (Electrical Engineering major): 3.7</p>

<p>Publications:
-3rd author for a publication in an international journal
-presented a full paper at a professional conference</p>

<p>Research Experience:
-started my freshmen year, stayed/staying with the same group till graduation. I work part time during the semester and full time during one summer, part time during another summer (third summer was for my internship).
-Designed programs and procedures that significantly increased efficiency in data taking and analysis.</p>

<p>Work experience:
-Interned at an IT department at an internationally recognized hospital (ranked top 5 in the world)
-Currently a teaching assistant for an intro probability & statistics class.
-Worked at the university IT department.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-Varsity cross country and track athlete.
-Greek Council Executive member (greek council is the ruling body for all fraternities and sororities at my university).
-Consistent volunteer work since freshmen year.</p>

<p>Awards:
-Outstanding Engineering design (twice)
-Dean's list</p>

<p>Recommendations will be excellent (I hope XD).
Essay will be excellent (Again, I hope, lol).</p>

<p>Misc data:
Male, not part of a minority group.</p>

<p>Princeton: Reach (at least it’s reachable; however, chancing for PhD programs is murky at best)</p>
