I had a decent phone interview as well. Essays and recs were also ok.
Please tell me if I have a chance

It’s impossible to predict your chances as so much of the applications process is subjective. Princeton really does read everything in your file, paying close attention to your teacher recommendations, guidance counselor report and essays – all items not included in your post. Your SAT and GPA make you a competitive applicant, but that’s about all anyone can truly say.

What gibby is also saying is that nothing we say will be nearly as accurate as the Decision you will be given in less than two weeks. Might as well wait it out like the rest of us. :)

It’s hard to say, really. I’ve seen people with stats like yours be rejected while others with my stats or lower accepted (and these were not all URMs). It’s a luck of the draw type thing.

You definitely have a good chance, but it is impossible to gage. With such a low acceptance rate it is impossible to determine who will be accepted. Several factors come into consideration as well, such as race. You definitely have a decent chance though. Your test scores are up to par, you are involved, you have a challenging course load. I didn’t read your essays and I don’t know your ethnicity so I can’t really fully evaluate you.

Well I did include my ethnicity^^… And my essays were decent; no hospital-building in Africa - just about some of my service related activities. I had it corrected by three teachers… so I guess it would be decent. I also did follow up on the deferral with a letter and some awards… so yea…
