Chance me - Princeton

I am planning to apply to Princeton ED in 2013 or RD in 2014. I took the Jan SAT and I am expecting a score around 2100.
Other than that I take the IB Diploma with HL Math, HL Physics, HL Chemistry. I have been constantly getting 7 in all my subjects except English and German.

I have also been actively volunteering for environment conservation for the past 5 years(Sea turtle conservation and Lake cleanup are my main projects). My efforts were recognized by UNEP and also won a couple of other prestigious awards. I had started the Earth club in my previous school and I am the leader of the Earth club in my current school.

My other activities are : Peer Tutoring ( Leader ), MUN, Tutoring at Orphanage, Chess club, Social cricket and flute performance.

Also planning to do a engineering summer course at an university.

I have also performed at 2 public flute concerts and am planning to do more.

Do I have a chance at princeton??

Will it be advisable to go for ED or should I go for RD?? ( Princeton is my number one choice)

Or should I take the SAT again to get a higher score??

Would be nice if someone familiar with the IB can answer

1) Princeton does not have ED. Princeton has restricted early action. (there is a difference)

2) Some would say that a 2100 is acceptable for Princeton. Others would suggest a 2250+. It’s your call as far as retaking. Remember that you should find a date to take your SAT Subject Tests (two are required, if I recall correctly)

You, like most people, will have a chance when you apply. Just remember that it’s ~6 percent.

so what is the difference between ED and SCEA??

And does my volunteering activities make me stand out??

Before posting a chance thread, you should have read a bit more extensively about ED vs. EA and about whether your volunteering activities will make you stand out. I assume you can access google in your country:

Since you still have a while before applying, I really suggest you improve your sat score. You could apply with that score but it certainly would reduce your chances.
