Chance me. Promise to chance back

I am currently a Junior in high school. I am white and live in California. I had a very shaky beginning to high school academically due to social anxiety. However, my sophomore and junior year I have turned it around and become a top student as I was able to overcome my fear of the social part of highschool (I made sure to base my application essays off of this).
What are my chances for George Washington NYU Villanova Boston U Northeastern

Weighted GPA: 3.95
Unweighted GPA: 3.6

Also will somebody tell me if only going algebra 1- pre cal will hurt my chances. As well as a somewhat weak science schedule.

SAT:2070

Transcripts

(Freshman Semester 1 and 2)
Biology B B-
Algebra 1 B B-
Spanish 1 C A-
English C A-

(Sophmore Semester 1 and 2)
English (Half Regular Half Honors) A A-
Geometry B A-
Spanish 2 B A-
History (Half Regular Half Honors) A A-
Chemistry A A-
AVID A A

(Junior Semester 1 and 2)
AP US History A- A-

AVID A A

(Senior Semester 1) Hypothetical very confident it will look like this.

AP Art History A
Honors Pre Calculus B
AP Government A
AP Physics B
AVID A A

AP Test Scores so far: AP English 11 (2) AP Environmental Science (2) AP US History (4)
The week I took AP test I was vomiting and was feeling terrible. Will my AP scores hurt my chances.

Extra Circulars (Based my EC's off of law to be unique and show my passion for it)
One of the lead attorneys on schools mock trial team
Summer internship at law firm
Attended mock trial summer camps to improve skill
Part of Peer Court Program
3 year member of AVID, helping tutor my classmates on a daily basis
Basic volunteering at soup kitchen

Letters of Recommendations
-Letter from my Mock Trial coach who is a real life attorney
-Letter from my AP English teacher
-Letter from my AVID teacher who has watched me help others

Clearly I had a significant incline in my GPA over the years. However, my Freshman and Sophmore year was mainly made up of regular classes, not honors. This was due to a horrible councilor who refused to let me excel.

Will my horrific Freshman year and kinda sophomore year, as well as bad AP scores due to illness ruin my chances for these schools? Or will my strong Junior year and writing about overcoming social anxiety help me to have a chance?
Thank you so much!

Ok so in my opinion,

George Washington (slight reach)
NYU (match)
Villanova (match)
Boston U ( safety)
Northeastern ( reach)

I think you have good chances for all these schools. Schools like Northeastern your UW GPA and SAT are a bit low
but your essay topic seems from left field, and compelling so It’s a chance Good luck!

Boston U (likely)
NYU (match)
Villanova (match)
GW (match to low match)
Northeastern (match to low match)

With good essays I think your chances are increased for each!

Bump

What department are you applying for in NYU? If it is not stern, I’d put you as a high match. You can choose to self report your AP scores, but generally they are not weighted heavily in admissions. You seem to have an upward trend while simulatenously taking harder courses so I think you will be fine. Good luck.

@shawnspencer‌ is stern the hardest to get into?

Yes it has the lowest acceptance rate and is harder to get into in some cases than some top 20 schools due to the strength of its programs

George Washington-match
NYU - low match to slight reach
Villanova- match)
Boston U- safety to match
Northeastern- match

Maybe your counselor can help you explain the AP situation? Either way, AP scores are not valued as much as getting an A in an AP class is. And you did! Chance me back?

here is my chance thread

Can anyone tell me if only going algebra 1 - precal is going to hurt me?

George Washington – high match/low reach
NYU – mid-to-high match; I know a guy who got in with 1900+ SAT.
Villanova – mid-to-high match
Boston U – match
Northeastern – mid-reach (the girl I know who got in had 2100+ on her SAT and 5+ leadership positions in debate, public speaking, etc.)

I’m going to be honest to you: your AP scores will hurt your chance of entry. If it’s anything lower than a 3, don’t send it. Also, the colleges you listed place a big emphasis on AP Calculus AB or BC, or at least AP Statistics (especially Villanova, BU, Northeastern, from what I heard).
BUT, your ECs are incredible. It’s very focused and useful to what you are going to study. Your recommendation letters look like they’ll also be well-written. So these latter two things will help you a lot. Just make sure your essay stands out! :)

Can you chance me for Georgetown? <a href=“Chance me for Georgetown and West Point? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1658966-chance-me-for-georgetown-and-west-point-p1.html</a></p>

George Washington (Reach)
NYU (high match)
Villanova (high match)
Boston U ( low match)

As far as math goes, don’t worry about it because I made a similar jump. Infact, it looks impressive.
Your science is weak but it should not severely impact you in any way if you are not looking for a career in the science fields.
