haha freight train i see your point
although i’m wondering, why do you say i have better chances for yale? and btw as i said in my post my reccs will be absolutely amazing…at least two of them will be

also what do you think about my chances for brown?

brown is def higher chances than HYPS . you will probably get into one of the ivies if you apply to all so good luck

really?

except i’m not applying to upenn or cornell -.-, but oh well

What is the breakdown of your SATs, if you don’t mind my asking? A lot of colleges don’t really rate the writing section so your math and CR are more important. Also, are you from MA? Just wondering because of the UMass.

Harvard, Princeton- high reach, they are for everyone
Yale- reach, but legacy will help
Brown: reach
Dartmouth: reach
Columbia: reach
Williams: low reach

Boston University: in
Umass Amherst: in

btw i am retaking…
i’m aiming for a 2250 at least

Tufts: match
Brandeis: low match/safety
Boston University: safety

I don’t know where you are in your college search process, but you should check out some of the less selective (but nearly as prestigious) liberal arts colleges such as Colgate, Hamilton, Bowdoin, and Colby (to name a few). They would be good match schools with your scores.

Williams match
Amherst match
Tufts match
Brandeis safety
Boston University safety
Umass Amherst safety

I agree with these. Unsure about the rest. Good luck to you.

hmmm
