Chance me quickly! Thanks.

Hey guys, nervous Senior (2012) here applying for the November 1st deadline at Georgia Tech. Tech for me is pretty much what most would call their "dream" school!

Superscore - 2010
Taking it again November 5th, confident I'll score higher.

Tech Unweighted GPA - 3.6
HS Weighted GPA - 4.021
All As this semester will bring my tech GPA to 3.75

9 APs completed by graduation:
AP Human Geography - B
AP Language Composition - B
AP Calculus AB - B
AP Calculus BC - A
AP Computer Science - A

My grades have taken a huge upswing since Fall 2010. All As last semester, very likely all As this semester with 3 APs and a first-year robotics course. Before last semester, I've been a pretty much a B student in my core classes. Been stepping it up though!

Founded a computer repair business with a friend Junior year, got a few repair jobs, but not enough to keep the business profitable with the local school broadcast having ads for $50 bucks a week. Although it basically failed, I got a part time job with my neighbor and a part time job with a local landscaping company to do basic IT stuff since January 2011, about 10-15 hours a week. (writing my risk essay on how I spent time, money, and effort on a business that failed, but got experience in marketing and a job out of it, etc)

If anyone has any other advice for applying here it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Your SAT score is quite good, don’t know much about ur school system and grades as I am an international student.

I have a question though. You say u r taking the SAT on the 5th but the deadline is 1st November, so do the colleges accept the SAT scores after the deadline too?
I’ll send my application for regular decision within the 15th December deadline. But I will take the SAT Subject Test on the 3rd of December so will they consider my SAT Subject Test scores which I will be able to send only after 23rd Dec when the results are declared.

Yes, as long as SAT scores are returned before applications results are released they are considered for admissions.

SATs are ok-- good idea to retake just in case

Shameless bump. Any other chancers?
