9/10 Principal of the school. I had him in middle school as well (7 years total). I am also really good friends with his son

Essays:
Common app: 7/10 somewhat generic essay about who I am as a person
9/10 Supplemental essay. It’s been checked and I’ve been told that it’s a winner

A little bit of demonstrated interest (1 on 1 Skype call)

Thanks! This is my dream school so I really hope I can get in!

Check the Naviance scatter plot for your school. Mellon College of Science is less competitive than SCS and CIT so your odds are reasonable. Your AP scores are low so I’d wonder how rigorous your HS is as you’ve been getting As and scoring low on the AP.

Thanks for replying! I think it’s more of a reflect on me not fully studying/caring 100% for the AP tests.

AP scores do not carry any weight, you do not need to even submit.

Still important for waiving courses
