Chance me! RD at Washu

<p>Hello everyone, I live in ohio and Washu is my top school choice. I'm a Caucasian male. Besides that i'm applying to a lot of other "top ranked" schools, but I think I have to best chance here.</p>

<p>Applying to engineering school
ACT: 32
Class Rank: top-10 rank out of roughly 600 students. I got all A's except 1 B.
Classes: Mostly honors and AP, AP classes: Calculus BC, Computer Science, World Studies, Physics C, Language, US history</p>

<p>EC's: Varsity Tennis, team captain
Varsity X-Country, team captain
Calculus Honor Society
Science Society of Honor Students
AP scholar with honor</p>

<p>Work: 3 jobs all at local places.
Volunteering: not much...</p>

<p>Letters of Rec: Really good, the teachers who wrote them really like me and I read them.
Essay: I think this is one of my strongest points. I had my AP language teacher read it multiple times and re-wrote until he said it was perfect.</p>

<p>Academics are pretty good, even if ACT could be a little higher. ECs aren’t too impressive, unless you have more than you’re stating. I wouldn’t say that you’re a top candidate, but as hsvipers7 says, there’s always a shot. Best of luck!</p>
