SATII's - English Literature - 730 and Bio - 750
AP's my school offers very very few AP's, maybe 10 maximum -
AP Spanish Language - 4
I took the AP US history exam (not the class) and received a 5 as well as the AP English Language exam (not the class) and also received a 5
Current AP's - AP art and AP Biology, also taking organic chem which is notorious at my school</p>
<p>EC's -
Track - senior year
Tae Kwon Do - through sophomore year (black belt)
Guitar - Played since I was 8
Art - Submitted a portfolio, currently in AP Art
Volunteer at a hospital - over 200 hours at least (since middle of Sophomore year)
GoPink - a breast cancer charity
Jobs - 2 summer jobs - a hostess and a file clerk this summer </p>
<p>I think you’re in. Good GPA, very good SAT, I think the only thing that MIGHT hold you back is not very rigorous classes, but even then I think you have a very good chance.</p>
<p>You have very nice stats, and I think a strong chance. Like many others have said here, it is good to make sure they know you are interested, either through a visit or contact with your local rep, so that they know you are not using GW as a safety backup.</p>
<p>Obsessed - show interest with an interview and you’re in - no brainer for me if I was a an admission rep. With your stats - consider the Honors Program.</p>
<p>1) be really clear in your app/interview about why specifically GWU for you and what you have to offer them. What makes it the right fit?</p>
<p>2)It is not clear what you are passionate about. Have a passion. Doesnt really matter what your passion is; just have something that gives a face to you as a person.</p>
<p>I’d give you a pretty good chance. Maybe 70%, if you really wanted it quantified, but that is just winging it really.</p>
