<p>91 hours doesn’t seem like much in a lab. If you were working on your own project, I would expect at least 150 hours per summer (and that’s only including real lab work, not lunch breaks and sitting around waiting for stuff… if you’re in a lab that doesn’t include waiting for experiments to run, I would say you would need even more hours simply because you have the opportunity to use them).</p>
<p>I would say your chances are pretty slim, but you definitely do have a chance. You never know unless you apply :)</p>
