GPA - Weighted: 3.91 at UTK (not sure if its the same at Vandy)</p>

<p>Scores:</p>

<p>SAT I Math: 570
SAT I Critical Reading: 650
SAT I Writing: 650</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>*Job (10-12) 25-30 hours per week
I've got a nice recommendation from my job. Promoted to management/advertising at 16.
*Mu Alpha Theta (10-12)
Treasurer (11) President (12)
*Junior Classical League (10-12)
*Ex Calibur (12)
Running for President but will not know till 2nd semester due to sponsor change.
*Refugee Services Volunteer (12)
2.5 hours per week. Will be approximately 70-80 hours. Currently at about 45.
*Nashville Workcamp (9)
40 hours for one week
*New Jersey Mission Trip (9)
One week.</p>

<p>I think that RD is going to be very competitive this year and your SATs are a bit on the low side - especially math. I'm not sure either how your GPA will translate but UW is also a bit low. Of the kids at my S's school applying RD most have scores well over 2,000 and GPAs at 4.0 or above. Does your school rank? Perhaps, you attend a very competitive HS and being from TN is known to Vandy. Do lots of kids from your school apply and get accepted? Either way, good luck.</p>
