Chance me? Regular Decision

<p>I would have LOVED to have applied early decision, but my parents make under 30K and my counselor said that it would be binding.</p>

ACT:28</p>

<p>Currently enrolled in the Magnet Program for International Studies</p>

-Have been the lead role in the One Act Play competition for 3 years since Freshman year, got an all-star award for my performance as Anne Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank"
-Drama Club President
-Senator of my student council
-Editor in Chief of the school newspaper
-Played the principle role of the 2nd Genie in the professional Atlanta Opera's production of "The Magic Flute"
-Sang and acted in the first teenage chorus of the Les Miserable's professional Theater of the Star's broadway tour production
-Crowned Paulding County's Teen National Supreme Miss
-Volunteered for Celebrate Life International's Teach One to Lead One program (translated brochures from English to Russian)
-Volunteered for Relay for Life

-Currently working on research on the affects of Computer Usage on ESL students' English Speaking abilities
-Won 3rd place in State in the Macrobiotics category for my science project on Amoeba Proteus

-Won the 50 dollar Microscopical society award for creative use of a microscope at the Georgia science fair</p>

Weaknesses: MATH (I can do well in a math class, not so much when it comes to standardized testing math haha)
*Edit: I will be interviewing this Saturday off campus and I visited the campus this summer :) (Loved it!!!)</p>

<p>With a good interview and good letters of rec - I’d say yes despite the low MATH SAT.</p>

<p>don’t submit the sat…submit the act. the 700 writing doesn’t hold as much weight and kind of deflates your 1900</p>

<p>If I send both will, they look more at the stronger at the two?</p>

<p>ehh…i wouldn’t want them to see that 580 math score</p>

<p>If my math score on the ACT was a 24, would that be higher than the SAT math score?</p>

<p>Well my ACT was already sent to them, would sending both hurt me?</p>

<p>They aren’t horrible scores… It shouldn’t hurt to send both…</p>
