Teacher Recommendations: Physics Teacher and APUSH Teacher (and i think my art teacher is writing me one even though i didn’t ask her for one ?)
Outside Recommendations: My boss from my internship i love her shes the best. (i asked for specific emphasis on my design, teamwork skills, and overall good work ethic and focus specifically on how I’m a fit for USC and schools like that.)
Essay: Average? idk i think its a good essay to me
Race: Asian
High School rank/prestige: Specialized high school so i think it does have some name to it
Gender: Boy
Intended Major: Business/Marketing(advertising) but not 100% dead set on it
I’m a NYC student but my 100% top choice is USC IYA so I’m not sure if that puts me at a disadvantage or not
School I’m applying to: USC IYA, NorthEastern, UMich, BU, BC, NYU, UPenn, Syracuse, Bing, Cornell,
thanks and pls dont roast me too hard I’m already dead from college apps
ahh I see… I’ll still apply just for wishful hope but I’ll expect a rejection. Also thanks for the information about the rec, I’ll make sure she doesn’t!
You should add some true safeties that you’d be thrilled to attend. If you’re not full pay, these should be financial safeties, too.
You’re a swimmer. Are you good enough to swim in college? Have you talked to coaches at any of your schools? If you’re a top athlete, this will give you a boost in the admissions process and may offset your SAT scores.
ah i do have some safeties but i didnt put them on this list because I didn’t want to make everythin gtoo cluttered. Also, i’m not a top top swimmer but idk if im good enough to swim in college… I do swim in psal a champs tho
Definitely the ACT looks better, I can’t offer much on most of the schools but for BU make sure you really demonstrate interest!! I think you have a strong application for BU if you really show you like it there. Northeastern would be a bit more challenging for you but in my opinion still attainable. (But I am a senior applying to BU ED sooooo I wouldn’t weigh my opinion too heavily)
