'm in a bit of a situation. i messed up in highschool now im trying to fix it with community college. i graduated hs in 2006 with a 2.2 lol now im at a CC as a math major doing significantly well. only problem this semester is that i had to drop my english class for reasons in which i will not get into. but other than that this semester im taking precalc, to rebuild my foundation. philosophy, freshmen seminar type of thing and a chemistry class because i didnt take it in highschool. next semester im taking calculus, stellar and galactic astronomy, and general chemistry and maybe ill try and retake english. im taking calculus 2 over summer so in the fall i can take calc3, differential eq's and linear algebra.

im applying for fall admissions at rutgers Nb. my family is moving this summer and i dont want to transfer to another cc and risk credits not transferring, retaking classes than trying to transfer back up to new jersey. otherwise id stay the two years.

what are my chances of getting in? should i try and speak with an admissions counselor or bite the bullet and that a rejection letter due to unfortunate circumstances

my gpa should stay well above a 3.0 and at this point i think my sat scores are irrelevant.
