<p>Hey guys, could you guys please chance me for the following colleges?

Harvey Mudd (teacher rec from an alumni of Harvey mudd)
USC</p>

<p>Asian american, not first in family to go to college
extremely competitive/rigorous school
3.88 GPA Weighted
3.57 GPA unweighted</p>

<p>AP/honors classes taken
-AP biology (5)
-AP chemistry (score unknown for now)
-AP english language (score unknown for now)
-AP US history (score unknown for now)
-mandarin honors
-english honors
-development western civilizations honors</p>

<p>SAT's
-2110 (710 Writing, 710 CR, 690 math)..will retake in october
-750 mandarin
-740 biology
-720 chemistry
-760 math 2c...will retake in november</p>

<p>Activities:
-Sign club member (1 year)
-Media Club (1 year...ICC representative)
-Cub scouts/ boy scouts (10 years...Instructor, Patrol leader, senior patrol...planning to get eagle in 1-2 months)

<p>E.C.s are weak. GPA is slightly low for UCLA and Harvey Mudd.</p>

<p>I would say UCI and UCSD are matches. UCLA is a slight reach, Harvey Mudd as well. USC is a high match, low reach. </p>

<p>Being Asian is going to be hard on you in this case.</p>

<p>Also, your SAT scores tell me that you are intelligent, but unmotivated. It looks like you didn't try that hard in school, or is your school that intense? What school is it?</p>
