<p>Grinnell is my dream school. I'm thinking about applying early decision II. I interviewed when they came to my state. It went alright. It was my first interview and the lady was really nice. I know it is very competitive. </p>

<p>Kenyon is my second choice. I interviewed when they came too; that went really well.</p>

<p>I'm also applying to Depauw University, Denison University, and Centre College. If you know of any school similiar to Grinnell or Kenyon, I'd love to add them to my list.</p>

<p>SAT: CR:700 M:600 W:690 (this is my third time taking it, but it increased each time in every subject, so I assume the others virtually don't exist? Also should I take them again in January and then send them after my application?)</p>

<p>Subject: Lit:680 US H:740 (worth sending?)</p>

<p>AP: US H: 5 Lang+Comp: 4</p>

<p>Taking Gov and Lit this year. Also my school only has 8 APs that only Juniors and Seniors can take. I took all the humanity courses, since it is my strong suit. </p>

<p>GPA: roughly 4.0 unweighted, I don't know what it would translate to weighted, our school does it on a 12 pt scale. I took a "difficult" courseload, but our school has poor academics. We're on academic probation right now.</p>

<p>Rank: 3rd out of 350</p>

<p>EC: Drama club president, Thespian Society, many plays in school and community theatre</p>

Academic Team
Vice President of Book Club
Student Council, SADD, Key Club</p>

<p>Volunteer Work, notably New Kids on the Block, performing educational puppet shows for elementary students</p>

<p>Summer: HOBY, Girls State, Economics for Leaders</p>

<p>I am fluent in Spanish; my mom is from Spain.</p>

<p>My essays will be good. </p>

<p>ED i think you have will definitely get into Grinnell. Kenyon is a match. The others are just low matches or safties.</p>

<p>Last year’s stats showed ED might not help at Grinnell (I don’t know both pool’s app strength, but it was 50ish and 45ish ED and RD respectively). The biggest plus, I think, is hearing back sooner when you apply ED. It’s nice to hear sooner.</p>
