Chance me? SAT scores expected to improve greatly

I have an unweighted 4.0 in highschool, weighted is about a 102/100. I am currently number 9 out of about 470 kids in a decent highschool. I would be applying undecided as I know I have no chance of getting into Wharton.

My SAT scores aren’t great, definitely not UPenn material–I took it sophomore year without studying, received a 1900, and then somehow junior year without studying got a 1310 (which translates to an 1860) which I will not be reporting. However I have been doing sessions with a personal SAT tutor and I haven’t taken an entire practice test yet but I did do a practice session of reading and only got 3 out of 52 wrong, compared to my previous 8. I also have significantly improved on the writing and language which happened to be my worst subject. Basically–don’t chance me entirely on SAT scores.

My chance is automatically lowered because I am a middle-class white girl from New Jersey.

My schedule for sophomore year was all honors and one AP class (all my school offers). Junior year I took AP Physics 1, AP AB Calculus and AP US History II and honors language arts. Senior year I am taking AP Physics C, AP BC Calculus, AP Government, and AP Literature.

My ECs are basic, nothing extraordinary at all.

Have you taken the ACT? For some people, the ACT is easier than the SAT. Maybe you should give that a try. Your grades look great.
