chance me (SCEA class of 2014)

<p>hi!
just before i talk about all my school stuff, i want to say that stanford is (obviously) my first choice school. i'm applying SCEA.
oh and i'm a white female, if that makes a difference.
ok here are my stats:
GPA 3.86 UW, 4.35 W
Taking AP Calc AB, AP English Lit, AP Gov/ H Econ & Leadership this year
SAT- 2210 (W 800, R 730, M 680)
SAT II- Bio 730, Lit 740
AP- Bio 5, English Language 5 (I'm going to take the Calc, English Lit and Government this year)</p>

<p>Captain of my school's cheer squad (12)
Senior class secretary (ASB) (12)
National Merit Semifinalist (12)
Principal's Scholar (6 semesters-all up until this current semester)
National Spanish Honor Society member (11)
Link Crew leader (12)
200+ hours of community service
4 years of competitive gymnastics (7,8,9,10)- 10 years in the sport total
National Honor Society member (11, 12)
National Charity League member (9,10) <--i moved junior year, or i would have continued
Copy Editor of school newspaper (10) <--did not continue for same reason as above</p>

<p>I'm a good writer and all of my short answer/personal statements are exactly the way I want them to be (and I hold myself to scrupulous standards).
Both my parents attended Stanford as undergraduates, and my grandpa got his Masters there.
My mom works for the university.</p>

<p>PM someone your essays and then let them judge. Your essays may be good, they may not. What anyone says in this thread without reading them has just as much meaning as the two possible following descriptions of your chances:
A kinda indecisive, falsetto “eeeeuhhhh”
or a kinda indecisive, lower-pitched “nyyyyeeeeuhhh”</p>

<p>People with grades/EC/numbers worse than yours get accepted, people with ones better than yours get rejected.</p>
