    Other things:
Essays: 9.5/10, I am an extremely strong writer. My essays were very creative and well-written.
Teacher recommendations: 9.5/10, written by teachers who are very close to me, and the teachers are both published writers.
I also got a letter of recommendation from my doctor who is a Yale graduate.
    What are my chances?

SCEA, something less than 15.5%, RD somewhere around 4.6%.

Btw, IMO, unless you worked with the Doctor, or saved his life, I would not have submitted his letter of recommendation.

Are you applying next year, or did you apply this year? Your first sentence was unclear. Good luck.

I already applied this year. The doctor who I had write my recommendation is my neurologist (not my normal Doctor). He saw the effects of my muscular dystrophy first hand and wrote about how I persevered through it. I am aware of the percentages of EA acceptance and my question is more “Do I have a better or worse chance than 15.5%?”

@Valenwp, in that case, I hope his recommendation convinces the AO of your perserverence, as that is a valuable character trait, and would IMO raise your chances. Additionally, under those circumstances I would have submitted his recommendation, but in all fairness, your first post made it appear that you were submitting it because he was a Yale graduate, which now seems somewhat beside the point.

In my first response, perhaps stated too tangentially, my point was that while you have accomplishments to be proud of, most of the other applicants will also. Your documented perserverence will likely improve your chances, but the details of your essays and recommendations are unknown to us, as they should be, so who knows? I am a rank amateur, but I think your odds are somewhat better than I first thought. Good luck.
