My application is complete as of Feb 5.... Panicing cause this is my top choice. I really need scholarship money to go. Any chance ? I can't sleep at night over this. I check my.ucf.edu every 4 hours for any change.

I think they will definitely offer you a scholarship. My son got a great offer last year with lesser stats, also OOS.
I would email admissions & financial aid and ask them. Sometimes they need that extra push.

Thank you for your response! Do you happen to remember when your son applied? I am not accepted yet, but I think I am safe in that field. I know I can fax them and ask specifically for scholarship consideration, but I don’t want to be a pain to them and rub them the wrong way. I’m just a tad nervous. Anyone else have opinions

Sorry for taking so long in replying. He did apply early in October and got accepted within a couple of weeks. They usually accept the early applicants sooner as they don’t have that many applications to go through.

No it’s totally fine! I found out today I was awarded the Knight’s Achievement Scholarship. Don’t know how much it’s worth. Everyone online who has got it has gotten 10k a year, but I don’t want to jinx it before my letter comes. Not too bad considering my application wasn’t marked complete until Feb 8th.
