<p>I'm a current senior at public high school. I moved here from South Korea two years ago because I didn't work there and wanted to get a new opportunity for new life. The problem is that I brought my 9th grade's grades from the South Korea.</p>
<p>9th - 2.3 uw, 2.3 w (From South Korea)
10th - 4.0 uw, 4.25 w
11th - 3.75 uw, 4.375 w
12th - just started</p>
<p>OVER ALL - 3.27 uw, 3.54 w (9th + 10th + 11th)
UC GPA - 3.81 uw, 4.45 w (10th + 11th)</p>
<p>2000 SAT, 770 KOREAN SUBJECT TEST, 720 BIOLOGY SUBJECT TEST, 720 BIOLOGY SUBJECT TEST.</p>
<p>I'm really worrying about the college admission because of my freshman year gpa.
I'm planning to apply for UNC-CH (instate), UCLA (oos), UC-DAVIS (oos), UNCC (instate), NC-STATE (instate), WAKE FOREST, UNCG (instate), ECU (instate), UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON (oos). </p>
<p>Can anybody tell me if I have chances for those schools? And any advice about the low gpa with the upward trend?</p>
