Volunteer/Community service: Over 200 hours including work in local retirement home, volunteering on the degenerative illness floor (was nominated as a member of my grades poverty intensive leadership trip) working at shelters and community centers for the urban poor. Volunteer at my church and for my old swim club as a coach
Summer Activities: Competitive rowing at Club Nationals and Canadian Henley as well as backpacking trips with other students, most recently to Alaska
