Volunteering: Hardly any. Did about 40 hours feeding homeless, some tutoring for NHS, a bunch of hours as a church group leader. Planning on doing much more this summer since I'm FINALLY 16 (most organizations in my area require 16y/0, and I was born quite late.. I'm the youngest in my grade)

Awards: Long list of debate awards, won a scholarship freshman year (essay contest) to study abroad in Asia over the summer, not much else? I really don't know how to expand here.

I'm one of those people who sort of floated through high school until junior year. I'm currently in junior year and I am losing my mind. During summer of freshman/sophomore year, I traveled abroad to Asia (first time on scholarship, second time with own money.) Combining this with my background in debate, I realized that I have a passion for international studies. I will most likely major in international or public relations.

I've been told (I'm not trying to toot my horn here) that I'm a decent writer (will probably help with essays?)

Chance me for: USC, Princeton (laugh at me, but Woody Woo is just too enticing, also I will be applying early action), George Washington are the schools I actually want to go to
I think my stats are pretty crappy but I'll also apply to: UCLA, UCI, Berkeley, UCSD, Occidental
Honestly, before browsing this website, I was pretty confident. Then, I saw a post in which seniors described their qualifications and acceptances/rejections. Now I am terrified.
Be brutally honest. Should I even bother applying for any of the above schools, or should I go to a CC and then apply?
Also, any tips on how, between now and September, to cover up the fact that I didn't really try outside of school?
