I got contacted by Harvard's UMRP some weeks ago, asked around and heard that it actually meant something, confirm please?

Applying to:

Harvard (SCEA)
Cornell
Columbia
Fordham
Rice
Stanford
Notre Dame
UPenn
Princeton
Georgetown
NYU

I would say that you have as much of a shot as anybody in this thing.
Quick note: Cornell only looks at CR+M and you fall into the mid 50% range with 1410/1600. Your writing score might make up for your Math scores at other schools but Cornell is probably going to notice.
But you’re an accomplished and intelligent URM with coherent EC’s and a good transcript so you have a fair shot at all of those schools.

Your volunteer hours look a little short though. Just something that stood out to me. Most people have 100+ or at least say that they have 100+ hours.
Oh, and don’t send that SAT II Bio score. Harvard only requires 2 subject tests.

Thanks for clearing up the SAT II’s for me before I sent them. And I think I can find a way to get some more hours on there before applying. Thanks for the reply :)

Went to Harvard info session and their advice was send 2 subjest tests in different areas. It would be best to not send two history SATIIs. I am sure you can send all 3 in and that would suffice.
