GPA (UW, W): 3.83 UW, 4.14 W
Rank: school doesn't rank, at least top 10 I think
Other stats: AP scholar with honor, NHS, CSF, etc.
Senior course load is 3 APs, 1 IB, the rest regular

ECs listed on app: Varsity Dance Team (4 years, Captain, couple scholarships), French club (founder and president 3 yrs), End Worldwide Genocide club (vice president 3yrs), Link Crew Leader (3yrs), English Honors Society (tutor 2 yrs), Guitar and Violin (4 yrs, not competitive though), Republican HQ (intern, field office organizer, 1 summer)

Essays (subject and responses): Common app decent, I’m a pretty good writer, about being jack of all trades and talked about passions. Haven’t written supplement yet, but it will probably be on my decision not to have any social media.

<p>I’ve visited, and I wrote a letter of interest over the summer. Had interview recently and I think it went fairly well, the lady said she thought I’d be perfect there but that she had no idea what would happen in admissions haha. I will send in a dance supplement to enhance my application, and I’ve emailed my admissions rep with a couple of questions. Any recommendations or tips greatly appreciated. Someone please give me a reality check, because I’ve already gotten way too hopeful about this school!</p>

<p>You’re an above average applicant, but not significantly so. I would say your chances of getting in are around 25-30%</p>

<p>If you’re at all interested in ballroom dance, Claremonts are noted for it and having specific interests is good. I’d say dance is a plus there. Good luck.</p>
