The overall reason for this chance request is basically to figure out how much my abysmal GPA is going to hurt me, when I know I can perform at the college level. I've already applied to Carnegie Mellon, and I want to know my chances for Stanford, Harvey Mudd, Caltech, MIT, Rutgers, and CMU I guess.

Also I would like to know whether anyone else has heard of anyone with this kind of profile and how it ended up for them

Unfortunately, GPA is the most important factor in admissions. You will be a good candidate for transfer into a top school with 2 years of good grades at the best college you can get into, but you’re wasting your money applying to them now.

There are lots of kids with your profile. Lots. I’ve never seen one get into a top college.

if you have the money, or your application is waived. apply anywhere you want. you can be one of the lucky ones who gets in with a bad GPA but good exam scores

Just an update, I guess. I ended up getting into Caltech, and Carnegie Mellon, and I’m attending Caltech!

Congratz!!!  :D
