Virtually no clubs. A 1950 SAT. Everyone’s chances are low at the schools you’re applying to, and either of these could be an excuse for colleges to put you in the reject pile. WIth 30,000+ applicants, they need to find some way to sift the pile, and SAT scores (or no ECs at all) are a way for them to do so rather quickly.

Don’t get me wrong, you have a chance, but it’s slim. You need to look at some safeties and matches.

Very large reach for S and B. Reaches for CAL and UMich. Your SAT is going to be a problem, unless you have some other legitimate hook. By way of example, the mean SAT for accepted students at Stanford is 2210–even the lower 20th percentile is 2070. Brown’s average is 2170. Make sure you have secured real match and safety schools.

No chance with that score.

I don’t think you will be getting into any of those places. SAT score is way too low, and your ec’s are relatively weak.

Among the 4 schools, UMich may be slightly easier than the other 3. And yet, your SAT is ~100 below their 25th percentile. If you are from OOS, your chance is really slim unless you get recruited as athlete or have talent for a music performance major.

Sorry, but your low SAT score and high GPA will make colleges question how rigorous your school is. I advise you to retake the SAT this november and raise it to 2100+ if you want your application to be considered. I understand that your school has little club choices, but you could have started a new club?
Good luck

Are you retaking the SAT? Because if you can I recommend you do. If you aren’t, by all means apply to these schools, but find several real matches with your score as well as several safeties.

Perhaps you should try your luck with ACT?
